Learn everything you need to know about the NM Medical Cannabis Program
For new cannabis patients-
The doctors in the Health Department in Santa Fe, certify patients to the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program based on medical records (also referred to as a progress note). Patients are required to present a medical record, which will be attached to the NM Medical Cannabis Program application. Your doctor can fax your medical record to this office, Fax: 844 892 660. However the majority of patients bring their medical record with them to the consultation. There is confusion over what exactly a medical record is. It is a record of the interaction between doctor and patient, and will list a patient's complaints, past history, physical exam, diagnosis, and plan including medications. Also Dr. Love is able to provide the service of PTSD evaluation along with a NM Medical Cannabis Card Application.
For patients already in the NM Medical Cannabis Program- not necessary to bring medical records for renewals & for new applications Dr. Love can evaluate for PTSD along with the Medical Cannabis Card application at no extra charge.
